Shipping and Handling

Our candles are shipped via Australia Post Standard Delivery. $10.00 base fee is applied to all orders Australia wide, with an additional $1.00 applied per item.

Our candles are shipped in sturdy and secure cardboard boxes and posted within poly mailers to ensure that they arrive at their destination undamaged.

Returns and Refunds

If you are unhappy with your candle we are able to offer returns and refunds on candles within 30-days of purchase. This is done so providing that the candles are in an unused and good condition for resale. The buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning their candle to us. Once we receive your returned candle, and we deem it to be in an unused and good condition, we will then process your refund. Refunds will only be issued to the credit card or PayPal account used to purchase the candle.

If you wish to change your order for a different candle after purchase please contact us immediately with your request. We ship our candles within 1-2 business days of receipt of payment for the purchase, and providing we have not yet shipped your order we will be able to easily swap your candles, providing your new chosen scented candle is in stock.

If you receive your order and wish to exchange your candle for a different candle, we will be able to exchange your order within 30-days of purchase. This is done so providing that the exchanged candle is in an unused and good condition for resale. Once we receive your returned candle, and we deem it to be in an unused and good condition, we will the exchange your candle and ship your new candle free of charge.

Damaged Items

At Hi Candle we do our very best to package and ship our candles in a safe and secure manner, so that your candle arrived in its best condition. We ship our candles in sturdy and secure cardboard boxes within a poly mailer. During transit it is common for the packaging of the parcel to experience some wear and tear. In the rare event that your order arrives and your candle is severely damaged via glass jar breakage, please contact us to discuss how we can resolve the issue.

If your order arrives and you find there to be sweat buds on the top layer of the wax, or if the top layer of the wax has slightly melted during transit, we recommend removing the lid and storing your candle in a cool and dry space. Within a short amount of time your candle will be able to set to a solid state again.
